Terms & Conditions
The completion of the Booking Form constitutes acceptance of these conditions by the client.
1. These booking conditions form a sole contract between the owners and the person submitting the booking form (who must be over 18 years of age). The person submitting the booking form shall be deemed to be signing for all members of the party, who agree to be bound by these booking conditions. No contract shall exist until the owners have received a completed booking form with the required payment.
2. A deposit of 30% of the total rental value of the cottage for the period booked is required at the time of booking and the balance payable 6 weeks prior to the date of arrival. If the booking is made 6 weeks or less from the date of arrival, the full amount is required at the time of booking.
3. The deposit will be treated as part payment of the total amount due. If the balance is not paid 6 weeks prior to the arrival date, the owners will have the right to cancel the booking without further notice. In the event of a cancellation for any reason by the client, deposits and final balances are not refundable. The owners are not responsible for any loss of enjoyment or use of the accommodation due to travel disruption etc.
4. The owners have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure safety and security of the accommodation and its contents and therefore cannot accept responsibility for the loss of any clients personal property. It is important that you read the welcome book with regards to security and safety, also ensuring that you all have adequate insurance cover.
5. Should any problem occur with the accommodation during your stay, you must inform the owners immediately. An accidental damage deposit of €100 (or sterling equivalent) is required on arrival/collection of the keys. The owners will hold this until the key is returned and the accommodation is inspected, where upon it will be refunded if the accommodation is deemed to be in an acceptable condition. Any breakages or damage found, or additional cleaning will result in the deposit being charged or retained accordingly.
6. Passport numbers will be taken on arrival.
7. The client is responsible for paying all travel arrangements, all airline tickets, car rental, medical and travel insurance and any other costs incurred in connection with the holiday. Payment via the booking form is for accommodation rental only.
8. The contract is subject to and shall be constructed in accordance with the Laws of England and shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.
9. The keys can be collected after 3pm on the day of arrival, unless otherwise arranged, from the owners house on-site and must be returned by 10am on the day of departure. Generally the owners will allow a later check-out time subject to availability.
10. Would smokers please NOT smoke inside the accommodation, thank you.
11. Bed linen and bath towels are provided. Beach towels are also provided and it is requested that these are the only towels taken off-site (e.g. to the beach).
12. No pets except guide dogs.
13. The owners reserve the right to terminate this contract during the guests stay (at the owners discretion) if the guests behaviour is deemed unacceptable.
14. Finally, have a wonderful stay and an enjoyable holiday.
