Farmhouse Algarve

Welcome to Farmhouse Algarve. A former Portuguese Olive farmhouse and traditional cottages with plenty of character. It's a place that is calm and relaxed where guests can sleep in the shade while the olives ripen slowly in the sun.

Built at the turn of the last century, the farmhouse is 10 minutes walk from the 16th Century market Town of Sao Bras de Alportel, meaning that the local cafes, restaurants and the market are within easy reach.

Being a small hamlet on the outskirts of the town provides a quiet and relaxing holiday. It's only a short distance to the rolling 'Serra do Caldeirao' (Cauldron Hills) where you can experience the tranquility of 'real' Portugal and is just a 20 minute drive to the famous Algarve sandy beaches.

Farmhouse Algarve comprises a two bedroom traditional farmhouse and two one bedroom cottages which can be rented individually or as a whole.

In 2018 we installed a new guest pool, terraces and a summer house where Guests can relax and enjoy the Algarvian sunshine.

The Farmhouse

Farmhouse Algarve opened in 2004 and is managed by Husband and Wife team Darren & Gail.

We are always happy to provide you with information about things to see and do during your stay in the Algarve.

We live in the cottage next door to the Farmhouse and our aim is to ensure that you have a relaxing, enjoyable and memorable stay.
